Volunteer Service
So I went to this place called St Luke's Eldercare to serve my Community Involvement Project. Here are some photos I think just too cute not to be published.
So, during our visit there, we arranged some games that required them to do chicken dance and sometimes pose as supermodels. The bottom line is, ridiculous forfeits. It was just funny!
We gave them Rochers as the reward.
I played Rush Hour with them : )
Played some stupid songs with a guitar.
When you get old, you tend to forget a lot.
Despite the fact that we were volunteering, during lunch break, we can never resist to splurge a little on food.
Peri-peri prawn at fish & co (which is not that good by the way).
But my highlights is MoF Japanese Sweets and Coffee.
There are so many so-delicious-looking desserts that I was so indecisive for 15 minutes about what to order.
But my friend, Mark, ordered this sort of macha shakes with japanese dumpling and soft ice cream.
Look, they served it in a bucket of ice. Pretty cute.
And what I ordered was...
It's a bowl full of fruits, mochis, red bean paste, japanese dumplings, and the super soft japanese vanilla ice cream. Served with brown sugar sauce, it was so good!
Oh, and I love peach! Don't you?

jakarta!
now i just realized that during my visit to jakarta, i didn't take pictures of... myself! however, there are bits of me here and there, so... (oh i don't know :( it's still bad enough though).
but i'm happy being home again :-D
hahaha this picture is funny, taken randomly by my boyfriend.
being home equals good food! jakarta is a tasty food heaven, but my favorite's always my mom's cooking.
we made these lovely poffertjes!
and i spent most of my time with girlfriendsss, the drama queens.
but this is yttria. i always like her choices for clothes and all that :-)
and it's so cool, coincidentally we wore sister shoes! our shoes came from the same collection from zara.
look look!
*culinary highlights: recommended! pasta with basil sauce at pasta de waraku
we really love doing random stuffs out of the blue. like, polishing finger nails?
it was so funny. we were late for our movie and my nail polish wasn't dry yet.
so there i was, fashion disaster! hahaha
so there i was, fashion disaster! hahaha
i really like the color. and those slippers were borrowed from a shop keeper at the nail booth hihihi.
on one of those hanging out days, my friend, marsya, brought some cool shades. it's so like one of those vintage chinese shades you see in children kung fu movies :-P so cool hahaha
this is the only outfit photo obtained with my camera. wearing f21 jeans, zara trf green tank top and an oversized mesh shirt.
shades shades shades.
i love hanging out with my boyfriend too (who came home for new year's holiday)
this is him, looking at some acoustic bass
and finally, an awesome new year's eve sleep over with my girls.
ah, going back to singapore really is lonesome.
so, i wish you guys did have a cool new year's eve too :-D
hello 2010, cheers!
ps. oh and i just realized, i left my nude heels at jakarta. crap.

Currently out of town
Guess what? I'm in Jakarta! It's been so much fun and I've been pretty adventurous about what to wear. Unfortunately I haven't gotten all the means to upload my pictures, so I guess see you guys after new year!
Merry Christmas and happy new year everyone.

college stud(ent)
(I still have my severe laundry problem)
Wearing vintage velvet dress, rubi scarf and CK gladis.
So, my boyfriend and I hung out, we went to toy's r us. He's kinda into board games and all that.
No we didn't buy this, but I think this game could potentially be interesting.
Taufik looking at poker chips set.
Wait a second, what does that shirt say? Hahahaha right.
So here is the fun part, my boyfriend loves witty t-shirts. I love good shoes.
Dining at California Pizza Kitchen. We ordered Neapolitan Pepperoni pizza and it was okay. However the caesar salad Taufik ordered was good (so I hijacked and finished it). I did order my own salad, (it was miso salad - pretty interesting from the description) but the trainee waiter was either stupid or forgetful that my order was never noted. Nyah, never mind.
Just before watching new moon (just to see how creative we could be in mocking Edward Cullen *sparkles*)
Have a good day, people!

Rise and Shine
This is an amazing shot by Taufik when he was in Austin.
Rise and shine, sleeping beauty.
This is obviously a random post since my life hasn't been very exciting nowadays.
But I like it when christmas. Orchard sparkles beautifully. Like, real beautiful.
(singapore energy conservation campaign, fail.)
This is my favorite christmas tree, just outside Orchard ION ♥
Tangs is also awesome. It's uniquely golden. Totally in love.
But I hate Pastamania. I went to watch paranormal activity with my boyfriend, seeking for a quick meal 10 minutes before the movie started. Surrendering to pastamania is a horrible decision. Regretted.

A Very Nice Evening
Right after the halloween party, my boyfriend and I had a very nice evening at botanic garden watching Berlin Swing Concert. We had nice drink, and picnic food, and chill weather. The sky was awesome, the music was great. Life is beautiful ♥
True, Life's great :-)
Halloween Party and All The Cross-Dressers
Hi People, happy Halloween!
I'm still kinda confused what I dressed as at the party hahaha, it's like, tribal witch, modern vampire, or something like that. Wearing a super long black night gown, red lipstick (which faded on later photos :-P), necklace with a sort of tribal accent, and my (uncaptured) nude heels.
Interesting stuff, around 70% of the guys came as cross-dressers. Oh and my favorite: Brian as that pink leopard gymnastic guru!
How's your halloween, folks? XXOO -dinda

Flowers?
A few days ago I went to the Botanic Garden to work out my waking-up-early habit (which seems to disappear due to the 6-week holiday) and to capture some good shots. It's nice at 7ish but it gets crazily hotter afterwards.
What I was wearing...
This is the cool bandstand they have there.
You could make your old knee-length dress more interesting. Wear a contrast-colored skirt?
Don't forget to have a nice back up.
And stay hydrated!
Anyway, after that, I had a nice nice lunch with my boyfriend at Sakae Teppanyaki.
The scallop, chicken and gindara were so good, we just needed minutes to wipe them off. Clean.
And this is my super boyfriend, we've been together for 7 months and I still fall in love every day I see him ♥ (what a lame information)
So, botanic garden is nice, sakae teppanyaki is nicer! Hope you guys have as awesome days.

Lunch Time Concert
People, I'm baaack! Finally after a while... :-D
So, this afternoon my boyfriend and I went for a really nice date attending Singapore Symphony Orchestra's lunch time concert at Victoria Concert Hall. The pieces played was nice and popular so we had fun watching the performance.
People are not allowed to take pictures and/or recordings inside the concert hall. This is an illegal shot!
I was like, WTF lololol!
It feels good returning to my blog again!
